Appointments typically take 30–45 minutes, including consultation and aftercare. Timing depends on hair amount, client comfort, and whether it's a first-time service. Allow extra time for a brief health check and to discuss any sensitivities or preferred shaping.

Ensure hair is at least a quarter-inch long (about two weeks' growth). Avoid shaving, exfoliate gently 48 hours before, skip caffeine and heavy workouts on the day, and avoid retinoids or harsh skincare 72 hours prior. Arrive clean and wear comfortable clothing.

Sensation varies by person and area; many clients report brief, sharp tugs followed by relief. Skilled estheticians use quick techniques, calming pressure, and aftercare to reduce pain. Over-the-counter pain relief, topical numbing (by request), and regular waxing sessions usually decrease sensitivity over time.

Most clients see regrowth within three to six weeks, depending on hair cycle and individual hormones. Regular appointments can extend smooth periods as hair thins. Use gentle exfoliation and moisturizers to prevent ingrown hairs and prolong results between sessions.

Generally safe, but disclose medications, recent isotretinoin use, or blood thinners, as these can increase skin sensitivity or bleeding risk. During pregnancy waxing is common, but hormonal sensitivity may raise discomfort. Consult your healthcare provider and inform your esthetician before booking.

Keep the area clean and avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, or intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Wear breathable, loose clothing and avoid scented products. After 48 hours gently exfoliate to prevent ingrown hairs and apply soothing aloe or antiseptic lotion as recommended.
