Prepare by arriving clean, with hair about a quarter-inch long. Avoid heavy lotions, recent tanning, or exfoliation twenty-four to forty-eight hours before. Wear comfortable clothing and hydrate. We’ll review concerns and breathing techniques to help reduce discomfort during your appointment.

Pain varies by individual and sensitivity. We prioritize comfort with guided deep-breathing pauses, gentle technique, and optional numbing products. Most clients report only brief stinging; discomfort usually subsides quickly and is manageable with our experienced estheticians’ support.

Results typically last four to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles. With regular waxing, hair often grows back finer and sparser. We recommend scheduling every four to six weeks for consistent smoothness and optimal maintenance.

Aftercare is important: avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, tanning, and tight clothing for at least twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Use the provided aftercare kit and follow instructions to soothe skin and prevent irritation or ingrown hairs.

Some topical numbing creams can be used but consult us first. We’ll recommend appropriate products and patch-test if needed. Overuse may affect wax grip, so follow guidance; we also offer breathing and technique options that often reduce need for numbing.

If hair is too short we may ask you to reschedule once it reaches about a quarter-inch. Light trimming may be possible in some cases, but optimal results require enough length for the wax to adhere properly.
